What is an eyebrow transplant?

We perform eyebrow transplantation using the FUE method to restore hair in areas that are thinning or have naturally sparse growth. The eyebrow transplant procedure involves extracting follicular units (grafts) from suitable donor sites at the back of the head and then implanting these grafts into the eyebrow area. To replicate the natural appearance of eyebrow hairs as accurately as possible and achieve optimal results, we extract single-hair grafts (containing 1 hair bulb) with an appropriate curvature and direction.

Eyebrow restoration in men: For male patients, grafts are most frequently harvested from the chin/beard region due to the identical structural characteristics of the hair shaft. If the chin area does not provide an adequate number of grafts, we can also extract grafts from the scalp, implanting a custom structural blend of hairs into the eyebrow area.

How is the eyebrow transplant procedure performed?

The entire graft harvesting procedure for eyebrow transplantation is identical to a standard FUE treatment and progresses through the following steps:

The donor area from which the grafts will be extracted is shaved to approximately 1mm (this is a strip measuring between 5cm and 10cm in width).

Local anesthesia is administered.

Next, using a specially adapted micro-punch, thin follicular units—predominantly single-hair grafts (with 1 hair bulb)—are harvested.

Once the required number of grafts has been extracted, we proceed to apply local anesthesia to the recipient area, which is the eyebrows.

Following the anesthesia, the next phase involves making tiny incisions for the graft implantation. These incisions are created precisely in accordance with the natural growth direction of the hair.

The grafts are carefully implanted.

Finally, a medical dressing is applied to the donor zone.

The patient receives detailed post-operative instructions along with a graft care kit and can return home.
